Until 31 July 2012, qualifying customers can claim a fantastic £200 cash when having FREE loft and / or cavity wall insulation installed through Tesco Home Efficiency! (please see terms and conditions below).
Depending on your circumstances and household income, you may be eligible for the Super Priority Group Cash Reward if you are in receipt of one or more of the following benefits:
• child tax credit and has a relevant household income below £16,190
Or
• state pension credit
Or
• income-related employment and support allowance, which must include a work-related activity or support component, and -
(i) is in receipt of a qualifying component; or
(ii) has parental responsibility for a child under the age of five who ordinarily resides with that member and has the relevant proof the child is under 5.
Or
• income-based job seeker´s allowance and -
(i) is in receipt of a qualifying component; or
(ii) has parental responsibility for a child under the age of five who ordinarily resides with that member and has the relevant proof the child is under 5.
Or
• income support and -
(i) is in receipt of a qualifying component; or

Super Priority Group Customer offer is for a single award of £200 per household following the insulation installation works pursuant to these terms:
1. To be entitled to the £200 you must have the insulation measure installed between 21 May 2012 and 31 July 2012; and
2. You must be in receipt of the relevant benefits as detailed in the ‘The Electricity and Gas (Carbon Emissions Reduction) Order’ and classified as a Super Priority Group customer; and
3. You must have cavity wall and/or loft insulation installed (where the existing loft insulation is less than 60mm in depth).
4. The offer is subject to availability and restricted to mainland Great Britain and the Isle of Wight only.
5. Full terms and conditions in respect of the assessment and installation works apply.
6. Lead times may be extended due to increased demand during this offer period.
7. This offer may be amended or withdrawn at any time at Tesco’s discretion.
8. The money will only be awarded following completion of the install of the insulation measure.

The free insulation offer is subject to a suitability assessment and limited funding. If your property exceeds a maximum meterage (+ £5 per additional m2), requires additional works (scaffolding, roof vents, core vents, walkboards, pipe insulation, water tank insulation, extra wide cavities), or has more than 60mm of existing insulation you will be charged a contribution fee. At the time of your free no obligation suitability assessment, your assessor will confirm if you will need to pay an additional contribution due to excess meterage or additional works.
We do not have funding for under tile insulation or where there is already more than 100mm/4 inches of existing loft insulation.
The Tesco Home Insulation Service is currently only available in mainland Great Britain and the Isle of Wight. Tesco plans to extend the coverage of the service to include the Scottish Islands in the New Year.
